In this case presented by Arup Chakrabarti, MS, silicone oil is found in the anterior chamber and posterior segment and subsequent conjunctival scarring is noted. Dr. Chakrabarti suggests creating a superior clear corneal incision instead of a conjunctival flap when planning a scleral tunnel for rigid IOL implantation.
